Just shy of 1,200 people receive Caregiving with Love in either Shared Living or Adult Family Care. Quality Enhancement Specialist (Full-time Exempt, Monday-Friday 40 hours/week)

Position Overview:

Nonotuck Resource Associates is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Enhancement Specialist to join our team and contribute to the implementation of our agency values and Key Agency Principles. Under the supervision of the Director(s) of Quality Enhancement, the QE Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality support for both the people served and the agency's employees. Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and Training
    • Provide knowledge and training to teams, ensuring adherence to agency systems.
    • Assist in the development of systems that meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Internal Auditing and Evaluation
    • Conduct internal auditing and evaluation of systems as assigned.
    • Assist in creating and improving systems to enhance overall agency performance.
  • Committee Coordination
    • Serve as HRC chair and coordinate the Human Rights Committee, particularly during vacancies.
    • Participate in assigned committees, staff meetings, and other work-related meetings/work groups.
  • Represent Nonotuck Professionally
    • Professionally represent Nonotuck when working with families, healthcare agencies, AFC & DDS personnel, Awards, iCentrix, and other organizations involved.
    • Coordinate and compile reports for various purposes, including annual satisfaction surveys and internal audits.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Utilize knowledge of statistics, survey design, and data collection to analyze trends and recommend follow-up steps.
    • Help coordinate and compile reports for various purposes, including satisfaction surveys and program audits.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with diverse individuals and opinions to arrive at consensus for improving practices and procedures.
    • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including people served, employees, caregivers, funding sources, service providers, auditors, and surveyors.

    • Display a high level of initiative, effort, attention to detail, and commitment by efficiently completing assignments with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of related experience required

  • Bachelor's degree and related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality assurance techniques, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CARF accreditation process/standards.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and various software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with diverse individuals and opinions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to arrive at consensus for improvements.
  • High standards of ethical conduct and a commitment to professional service.
  • Experience with EMR platforms such as iCentrix and AFC Home preferred.
