Respite Caregivers Wanted! 

Nonotuck Resource Associates is seeking compassionate and dependable respite caregivers to support individuals in our Shared Living Community. As a respite provider, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing someone's quality of life—helping them stay engaged in their community, explore new interests, and build meaningful relationships.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with a reliable and insured vehicle.

• Able to pass a Massachusetts and nationwide criminal background check (CORI and fingerprinting)

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Prior experience with people with intellectual disabilities and / or mental health disorders is extremely helpful but not required 

• A team player who is willing to participate as a member of the support team.

The Following Resources will be Available:

• A pay agreed upon by the Respite and Shared Living Provider
• 24- Hour emergency on-call assistance
• Support from a Multi-Disciplinary Team (Care Manager, Clinician, RN and Directors)
• Training on home safety skills, medication management, and First Aid/CPR
