Nonotuck Resource Associates is an organization committed to providing authentic homes and a loving home life to the people we support. Through our Shared Living Program, we seek to match people who wish to create a home together with a spirit of mutuality and love.

We are currently looking for a kind and patient person to provide a wonderful shared living home for a young man in the Greenfield/Turner Falls area.  This man is in his 20s.  He enjoys his independence and often can be found walking or running around Greenfield.  He is dedicated to church and loves anything military themed.  He needs gentle guidance to maintain personal hygiene and to be socially appropriate.  He loves to tell stories, read, watch tv, and go to the park.  He also loves animals and working with his father.

The role of the caregiver would be to provide supervision and oversight with daily routines, general health maintenance around attending medical appointments and medication oversight, and community integration. We are looking for a caregiver who has a good sense of humor, practices patience, kind, is non-judgmental and outgoing.  The ideal caregiver is someone who can be consistent, supportive, and help maintain familial relationships.

To qualify for this position, all applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, own a car, and pass the CORI. Experience working with people with disabilities and with people in the mental health field would be helpful. A single bedroom must be available in your home.

Nonotuck Resource Associates provides a generous monthly stipend, relevant trainings, monthly visits and ongoing support by a Case Manager, as well as clinical supports.

If interested, please send resume or contact Nichole at 413-588-2966.
