Job Description

Nonotuck Resource Associates is an organization committed to providing authentic homes and a loving home life to the people we support. Through our Shared Living Program, we seek to match people who wish to create a home together with a spirit of mutuality and love.

We are currently looking for a kind, active and social person to open their life and provide a wonderful shared living home for a sweet middle aged lady with disability in the area of Hanover and surrounding towns. She is friendly, likes going out to eat,enjoys music, art, karaoke, reading, and dancing.

The role of the caregiver would be to provide supervision and oversight with daily routines, general health maintenance around attending medical appointments and medication oversight, and community integration. We are looking for a caregiver who has a good sense of humor, practices patience,kind, non-judgmental and outgoing. The caregiver will also need to continue facilitating the relationship and visitation with her family.

Qualified candidates must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • have a valid driver's license,
  • own an insured and reliabe car
  • pass background check
  • have a spare room in their home for the person, whom they would support

Experience working with people with disabilities and / or with people in the mental health field would be helpful. 

Nonotuck Resource Associates provides training, ongoing clinical support, case management, 24/7 on call assistance and consultation, and a generous tax-exempt stipend.
