Range = $27,618 to $96,677 annually*
*Range above represents difficulty of care payments paid to a caregiver for providing personal care services to an eligible person residing either in the caregiver’s home or in the person’s own home. Stipend rates are contingent upon assessed needs of the person and subject to state approval. Nonotuck Resources Associates (www.nonotuck.com) is a community-based agency that provides residential services since 1972 to people with intellectual disabilities. Believing in the transformative power of caring for a person in a home-setting, we support individuals through matching them with caring providers who open their hearts and homes to our members as Shared Living Caregivers. Shared Living Caregivers need to provide a flexible and supportive environment where the individual they are supporting will feel safe and secure.
We are currently seeking a Shared Living Caregiver for a woman in her 30s who enjoys a wide range of activities, including dancing, arts and crafts, and getting her nails done. She also likes to get out into the community via shopping and running errands, going to Red Sox games, and spending time with her family.
Responsibilities of the Shared Living Caregiver include planning and sharing daily meals, coordinating transportation and attending appointments, supporting participation in community and social activities, assisting with budgeting and money management, and providing supervision and guidance with internet use. The caregiver may also offer assistance, supervision, and skill-building in areas such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, while providing emotional and behavioral support as needed.
